Before installing a Windoze server (no matter what flavour) you always need to verify the compatibility (drivers) with the machine's hardware... A Windoze XP driver will rarely work for a server environment... Micro$oft built all servers version to run in server machine type... further more you also need to verify softwar compatibility as well... as not all workstation software is compatible with server environments... and your machine advertises that it is a WORKSTATION NOT A SERVER...
press delete during boot up process enter BIOS then f1 for general help then run chkdsk/f which will automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive
hope this helps good luck
Okay, has the SCSI system been setup properly? you must adjust some hardware settings to tell the computer what device is the end of the string, and if it is not configured correctly, you won't be able to use some or all of the SCSI hardware. I would check all hardware settings and BIOS settings before attempting that again. **WARNING** Do NOT open your computer unless you are properly grounded to your computer via ESD Bracelet. any static that is discharged (Usually you don't even see or feel) can damage computer components. Please use extreme caution when working inside a computer.

Did you get an error message during install of the (system with the SATA 160GB drive)? Make sure the 160GB drive is shown in the bios. Than go to the title, Boot in the bios & make sure the SATA 160GB is listed in the boot order. (Preferred 3rd. boot device) Please go to the SATA drive's manufactures site & download either their bootable floppy or CD setup software. (It’s free)! Use their software to setup the FAT & cluster size on the drive. You can even set other features that neither the bios or windows can do. Format the 160GB drive with the software as well. The manufacture's software does a better job than windows. If the 160GB drive is a SATA 2.0 leave the jumper on the drive alone. The Desktop Board supports four Serial ATA channels (3.0 GB/s) via ICH7, connecting one device per channel. Again, please run the manufactures setup software for your SATA 160GB drive. (Disconnect any other drives that may be in the system until windows is installed). Intel's web site here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2839&lang=eng

Look in your bios & see if you can disable the ACPI, (which you should be able too do. Finish installing your OS. Than update the OS. After completing all updates re-enter your bios & enable the ACPI. You should not get that error message after re-start.
Boards that support ACPI will get this error during a fresh install untill they get windows updated. All OS's
