there is an outdoor unit and is probably low on Freon and not working. it probably needs service. if the indoor unit come on, then the outdoor unit has power but may be low on Freon.
The internal combustion engine is quite simple. All you need for it to run is compression, fuel & a spark to ignite it. I'm not saying it'll do 40 MPH but it should start & run. If it doesn't then one of the 3 elements is missing.
You need the following - sounds stupid but it wont work if one of these is missing.
1. PETROL - fill the tank to be sure. If its a 4 stroke just petrol. If its a 2 stroke petrol & 2 stroke oil mixed or top up 2 stroke oil tank.
2. Fully charged BATTERY. Clean connectors on battery tops
3. a SPARK at spark plugs. Clean them while they are out. If no spark look for dodgy coils, plugs, HT leads, triggers.
Look for air leaks in fuel line - if bulb does not go hard you got an air leak. Does it smell of petrol? check for leaks in fuel line & around carbs, look for perished fuel line, loose clamps or if they are jubilee clips, they could be too tight, crushing the anti-syphon valves at the primer bulb. loosen them until squeezing the bulb scoots fuel out then re-tighten JUST enough to stop fuel leaking.
Does it turn over? - then battery ok & not seized
Does the choke operate? operate lever & confirm things turn properly on carbs.
Once its started you can fine tune it but it needs to start first!!
to do what you are saying is to remove controler and by pass every thing with individual switches would work in a fashion but is not feasable best dump it now or repair propely for safety reasons remember a life is worth more than any money when playing with electric and water repair or get new dont take chances a family menber is is loved and would be missed
WR F are 4 stroke.YZ are the 2 stroke models. If it is a wr,and you let them idle for more than about 1 minute, they all blow out coolant. They need to be moving to keep things cool.Hope this helps
When I first got my brand new RYOBI LIne Trimmer the *** thing just would not start. I was following the exact guidelines in the maual. First thing is, ensure you get right is fresh fuel correctly mixed accurately with 2-stroke oil. Some machines are more temperamental about the mix. 2. Set choke to COLD, press bulb 8 times (once you see fuel enteing the clear bubble reservoir) 3. Switch on power. It's amazing how often I've pulled the cord with that red button off. Dont think you cant do it to. 4. Pull the cord gently until you feel resistance. Let it gently recoil, then in one non-aggressive move, holding down the unit with your other hand, pull it out at constant speed. Do not yank! If (or rather when) it doesnt start, pull the accelerator trigger a couple of times only, and repeat procedure "4". Don't press bulb again too often or use the trigger too early or you will flood the engine. When I couldnt get my strimmer to start at all, I got this advice from an online engineer, it fired up *first pull*.
If it's not starting after a winter rest, did you store it empty of fuel because that is always wise. Discard old petrol mix and start with new. Hope that has helped.
Can you shrink the screen with the buttons in the upper right hand corner? If not, hold down the left button of your mouse near the top of the page and pull or push the screen upwards until you can see the OK box.Or try to downsize the screen to your task bar, then right click your desktop screen. In the box select "properties",then pick "settings",in color quality click the pull down arrow and select highest(bit).Your screen will adjust, open the window you just downsized and grab the sides individually and size the screen to your liking by moving top or bottom in or out.If you were already on the Highest setting you can still shrink the screen with the screen resolution by moving the pointer one line to the right.Click apply and OK,the screen will adjust.Bring up your page and move the bottom up to where you can get to the buttons. Then you can go back to the desktop settings and readjust to what you like for settings. After you restart Windows will remember your settings so that you can open pages to the same size and location you set.Settings are only saved if you select Shut down or Turn off and let windows close itself. Please re post if I didn't answer your question to your satisfaction and we'll try something else?
