A small tip here - bigger is better. The large diameter wheels clear gaps in concrete or pavement that would hang up a skate wheel or a scooter with smaller wheels. Most electric scooters also handle well in gravel and small terrain features. We don't recommend slamming electric scooters into a curb to get over it like some people do with their bike. This could result in damage to the electric scooter. Simply Ollie up a curb and keep going.

To handle bumps in the road, you need to have a decent suspension system. If you do not have one, then the scooter will tip over easily and can even be dangerous for riders.
Electric scooters are fairly cheap compared to gas-powered scooters and they also offer a smooth ride since there is no combustion engine. However, they are more prone to getting damaged when going over uneven surfaces or bumps in the road because of their weight.
If you plan on riding an electric scooter every day, then it is best that you get one with some sort of suspension system so that it can handle rough roads better.

When you put the key in the scooter shows that the battery has a full charge. But when you try to drive it the needle drops all the way down as if the battery is dead. I put my battery on my friends go go scooter and her scooter ran fine. So I don't thank there's anything wrong with the battery.

Would like to place a scooter rack on a hino 145 Rainbird motor home, total weight with scooter and rack 160 kg, Is there any risk factors to consider.

most engineered tow bars will have a limit of 200kg load and there are many vehicles on the road that have scooters attached to the tow bar hitch
However these applications are generally for suburban operation and not for highway and off road applications
I would consider having a special tow bar made so that there are 2 hitches provided so that there is a better balance support for the scooter
Next the scooter will extend at least 600 mm out from the rear of the vehicle so ground clearance when exiting areas will have to be considered and the support raised so that the scooter is not dragged on the ground when crossing culverts and drains
Next to be considered is the distance from the rear drive wheels to the scooter load point
While the scooter is 160kg in weight the distance from the rear wheels to the scooter is a multiple of that mass when going over bumps in the road so that has to be considered in the fixing and manufacture of the carrying assembly
for example the distance of 1meter is 1 X 160 kg
but if the distance is 3 meters the it becomes 3X 160 which =480kg and that is considerable stress on equipment structure when the rear wheels are suddenly projected upwards from a bump or speed bump in the road
So risk factors to consider is
load stability by using 2 mounts instead of one
ground clearance over road depressions
and mass multiplications from the distance from the rear wheels to the scooter load point
I have repaired far to many broken caravan A frames that have been connected to trucks and motor homes that have been towed over less that perfect highways

I have a sterling diplomat 306 id,

Hello,
Look at the right hand back corner of the bootlid recess, there is a very small steel spike sticking up which is a switch. Sometimes if the scooter goes over a sharf bump, the lid jumps slightly and the switch lifts momentary and puts the brake on. It thinks the lid has been lifted and goes into charging mode.
Switching the power on and off resets the system until the next sharp bump.
The switch is ajustable, or the bootlid needs to be pushed down harder before locking it.
I had this happen on my Diplomat 408i.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Paul

Problems with Pride Celebrity X 4-Wheel Electric ScooterFree tech support for Pride Celebrity X 4-Wheel Electric Scooter and help with Pride ... the scooter suddenly stops. it is an intermittent problem....

It is often a damaged accelerator (Potentiometer). Sometimes the shaft on the wigwag breaks the contacts in the accelerator from being moved too vigorously when going over a bump too fast. A technician would need to repair this for you. Happy scooting. Regards Chris… [email protected]

Odyssey 4-wheel electric scooter - The following has happened twice in a 6 month period near the same geographic neighborhood location. While driving the scooter, which is fully charged and operating...

Always check the battery connections first because too many times it is a loose connection or battery bolt. it would happen more if you drive it a long distance, or up a hill and the controller over heats or if you are hitting a bump. when the controller cools down it drives again.
