# Regularly remove any hairs that get trapped in the waste plug hole. # Keep small objects such as combs, medicine bottles and toilet rolls away from places where they could accidentally fall into the toilet. # Regularly flush the wash basin and bath or shower pipe work with hot water and a disinfectant to clear soap residue and prevent build up over time. # Don’t flush away large and disposable items such as sanitary towels, nappies or product wrapping as they can become caught in the drainage pipe. # Do not dispose of waste food scraps and cuttings down the kitchen sink. These are much better composted. If any items do fall into the sink pull the vegetable material out of the plug hole, do not try to poke through as you could impact the blockage making it harder to remove. # Never dispose of cooking fats down the drain system. As they hit cold water they will solidify. If there is absolutely no alternative you should dilute and emulsify the fats by mixing them with hot water and of detergent. Keep the water running for a minute after you have done this to keep a clear water flow. # For complete peace of mind, particularly if you are running a business you can request a regular drain surveys and get your drainage system checked regularly by a CCTV drain inspection service. This will give early warning of any potential blockages and also enables you to keep an eye on the structural condition of the drainage pipe work.

I have a 06 Equinox heater core hoses are hot and still no heat and is over heating still I need to know what it could be?

If the heater core hoses are hot but there is no heat coming out of the vents, and the vehicle is also overheating, there are several possible issues that could be causing this problem. Here are a few things to check:
  1. Coolant level: Check the coolant level in the radiator and reservoir. If the level is low, it could cause both the overheating and lack of heat. Top up the coolant to the correct level and check for leaks.
  2. Thermostat: If the thermostat is stuck closed, it could be preventing coolant from circulating through the engine and into the heater core. This could cause both the overheating and lack of heat. Consider replacing the thermostat if it is found to be faulty.
  3. Water pump: The water pump circulates coolant through the engine and heater core. If the water pump is not working properly, it could be causing both the overheating and lack of heat. A mechanic can test the water pump to determine if it is functioning correctly.
  4. Heater core blockage: If the heater core is clogged or blocked with debris, it can prevent hot air from circulating through the cabin. This could cause a lack of heat. Flushing the heater core may help remove any blockages.
  5. Cooling system blockage: A blockage in the cooling system, such as a clogged radiator or hose, can prevent coolant from flowing properly and cause overheating. Have a mechanic inspect the cooling system to determine if a blockage is present.
These are just a few possible causes of the overheating and lack of heat. It is recommended to have a qualified mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose and repair the issue.

On my dyson 02-89666B. The power head keeps shutting off when I go to vacuum. When its not flat on the floor it works

If the vacuum cleaner's airways become blocked, the device will automatically shut off to prevent damage. Check for blockage at the power head. It probably runs when not flat because it can suck air past the blockage.
If the vacuum's filter is full of debris, the vacuum may lose suction, causing the device to turn off automatically...which I doubt in your case.
Be cautious removing the blockage for sharp objects.

Best to you

I cannot get plug back into new Clipsal outside socket

check the socket that you installed
many have a blockage to prevent children sticking pins etc into sockets so it may require a bit of a hard push to move that blockage sideways to get the plug in

Gun was working fine, now will not fire even with new co2 cartridge, any suggestions

It is possible the 'new' CO2 cartridge is defective.

If the gun was working fine BEFORE you installed the new CO2 cartridge, try a different cartridge.

Maybe the seal wasn't pearced on the new cartridge. Also, a blockage would also prevent the gun from firing. Check the gas pathways for a blockage.

HAUS wm1050w

If the blockage is cleared and you still get the error code. Then you will need part #H10433 which is a drain pump. Once the pump is replaced your unit will work.

Not draining It hyas on OE coming up and the book says blockage. I can't find any blockage anywhere in the hose where i can see it

Check for blockages in the air gap vent at the top of the sink. You'll have to disconnect the hoses and remove the small cap inside the vent cap. This item can prevent water from flowing over to the hose that allows the water to empty into the garbage disposal or drain pipe.

Tube to Fantom Thunder canister blocked

I cut a strip of window screen about 1 inch wide and 12 inches long and slid it up the tube from the back of the vacuum. The screen edges grabbed the gunk and as I pulled the screen strip out from the tube the gunk came with it, clearing the blockage.
