The date on my Tissot PRC 100 changes either 1/2 day early or 1/2 day late. How can it be set so that the date changes at 12:00 am?

Your watch is 12 hours out, as it "thinks" that midnight is midday.

The solution is to wind your watch forward 12 hours and then the date will change at midnight.

Bought my tissot watch on 23 rd May. As I am new so I am really confused because the date is changing at 12 :30 am instead of 12 am. The model is T033210 A. Is it faulty ?

I see this is a Tissot 1853 watch. As you bought it very recently, I would expect a good quality watch like yours to change date soon after midnight. However, it's probably not faulty. There are many watches that don't show the correct date until as late as about 2 am. If it really bothers you, the you would need to get the hands reseated so that the watch shows midnight when the date change occurs. This is not an easy job, and best left to a professional. My advice would be to ignore it if the watch is otherwise performing OK.

Date change

Hi.
I take it that your watch changes date at 12 noon, instead of 12 midnight.
If so change the time of your watch 12 hours, so it reads the same time, but instead of am, it is pm, or visa versa. Analog watches do not have a 24 hour time setting.

Date changes at mid day not at mid night.

Your watch is 12 hours out of step. The date changes ever second rotation of the hour hand.

If you advance the time 12 hours, the date will change at midnight.

You may have to re-set the date.

I have a Tissot Automatic PR 516 from the early 70s. Time is kept well. Date moves forward correctly but it is the wrong date. I am unable to turn back the date. I am able to turn back the day. Any...

The crown wheel (winder) should have 3 positions, (1) the normal winding position (3) fully out; at this position the watch stops and the time can be adjusted.

(2) This position is between the 1 & 2 and is used to adjust the day and date. If you wish to change the date by winding the crown backwards or forwards.

Since watches can very a little, if turning the crown when in position 2 the date does not change, pull the crown to position 3 and turn the hands until you pass the midnight position, when the date will change and then re-set the time. If you wish to advance the time more than one day, when it changes, wind the crown backwards past the midnight position and then wind it forwards again. Repeat until the correct date is showing and then re-set the time. The exact distance you need to turn the crown to change the date will have to be found by experimenting!

My prc 200 is not working maybe its the battery?

These watches are "automatic" which means that the are self winding.

They will run for 1 -2 days before stopping. Shake the watchgently from side to side for a few minutes and it should start again.

(These watches need to be constantly used to keep them working).

Date function notworking properly

Do as follows:
1) At any time of the day pull the crown out and advance watch hands forward for EXACTLY 12 hours ( for example: if it's 6.35 on your watch, then after advancing hands it will be 6.35 again, just minute hand will be forwarded clockwise 12 full circles, while hour hand will be forwarded 1 full circle). Push the crown back in.
2) Pull the crown out to the date setting position and change to the desired date. Pull the crown back in.
Now your watch will be changing dates at midnight continuosly.

I am trying to reset my T Touch watch from Tissot and can not find book. need to reset time and also how to convert from metric to US standards, like ferinhit and from meters to feet.

SET TIME:
1. Activate Crystal
2. Tap center of screen until digital time comes up
3. Press and hold top button (+) until watch beeps, display will be flashing
4. Use + and – key to adjust time. If several hours off, hold appropriate key and
after first hour passes, only the hour hand will move.
5. Make sure the digital display shows A or P for AM or PM
6. When finished, touch center of screen again.

SET DATE:
1. Activate Crystal
2. Tap center of screen until date appears
3. Press and hold top + button until watch beeps and display flashes.
4. Use + and – buttons to change date to correct one.
5. Make sure to set time first, if you set date first, you run the risk of the date
changing at noon rather than midnight.
