Hello,
Welcome to FixYa.
Based on your description I'd say the issue actually is with the control...unfortunately. This is likely within the electronic timer/control, specifically the heater relay solder joint. ( a faulty flow switch, ntc or heater can also cause this, but not very probable ).
If you feel capable of checking this on your own, there`s a way to visually inspect the control yourself...it really isn't very complicated. Copy & paste this link (or click on it if it will respond) to your toolbar (explorer bar ?) and you'll see my complete solution for this issue.

I also wanted to add, depending on your model and serial number Bosch issued a recall on some of their units. Here's a link you can use to check up on your specific unit.

Good luck.

thank you Marcmarkus. We followed your instructions, opened the control panel, soldered the solder joint and put it back together. Works perfectly!! the biggest challenge was opening the plastic casing around the green control panel. It took us over half an hour to push all the pressure points to release the hinged casing, but when we did, we then had easy access to the control panel and it was clearly visible that a solder joint was burnt. It went back together very smoothly, and much faster. Now the test will be to see how long it lasts! tks again for sharing your knowledge.
i’m having a similar problem. I remove the circuit board, which in my model is not in the door but is in the base of the unit towards the rear, but I’m not seeing any obviously burnt solder joints. Could the control board still be the problem even if the visual inspection looks OK? could there be some other causes of the stock one minute problem ?
Sept. 2020, Bosch Dishwasher shu-5312 stuck with minute remaining. Solution: Press the Scrub Wash and Delicate / Econo Buttons both in at the same time. The unit will then drain and the figure CL will appear in the display. Turn unit off. Then turn back on and use as you usually do. If you have a 43 model, it is Power Scrub Plus and the Regular Wash buttons. If the unit still does not work then it is probably the control panel. Note: I re-leveled mine and elevated the drain hose better. It tilted too much to the front. Not saying it has anything to do with the problem.

I had the same problem and I replace the water quality sensor (I am not 100% sure it's sensor professional name). Now it working good.

Common Bosch Dishwasher Problems And Solutions
Hi
First
check if the drain hose is not clogged and try to clean it as it can be that
the hose is clogged and the water is not draining properly. After that check if
the drain pump filter is fine and not clogged, try to clean that as well. After
this check the metal filter, impeller cover and the air gap unit. After checking this you can
reset the error as follows: turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or
press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the
appliance off and then back on again. Hope
this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Can you please post a tech page that will illustrate how to remove and replace the control board? I already have the replacement part?
