SOURCE: Lights blink, but Cuisinart Smartpower 7-speed wont turn.
The thermal fuse is blown. You can buy a replacement from RadioShack for $1.69 You have to remove the old one and solder in the new one. If youre "handy" its very easy. Take it to a repair shop, you pay about the same as a new one. Its too bad that most electronics made today are cheaper to throw away and buy a new one rather than fix them when they break.
SOURCE: The pulse light is blinking, but the blender will not work
Did this still doesnt work like I read its probably a burnt out motor. try the above method, if it doesnt work, do what the other person said throw that p.o.s. away and buy an antique blender it will last forever. dont shop at walmart if your buying anything you want to last more than a week disposable ****.
SOURCE: Blinking lights on KitchenAid blender
Alternating blinking lights on a Kitchenaid blender indicate a bad circuit board which is unable to run the motor properly. Unplug the blender, take the jar off, and turn the spindle by hand. Then plug it back in. If it does not work properly, try a different outlet (perhaps not in the kitchen). If nothing works, the blender needs to be repaired.
