Second level tv has a signal but the main tv on first floor has no signal.

    janwhpp,

I can definitely assist you in getting that resolved, though I just need some more information. Is the no signal on the main TV a signal loss message, or is it like a black/blue/snowy screen with no signal?

Also check to make sure all connections are tight. If it is the black/blue/snowy what type of cable are you using?

Hello! It sounds like there are a few things that could actually be going on. If you are getting no picture on the TV(you have a black, blue, or snowy screen), you will want to make sure that the TV is on the correct channel and/or input. You will want to be on channel 3 or 4, and possibly on a Video 1 or 2 or HDMI 1 or 2 input. If that doesn't work, then try unplugging the receiver from the power source for about 10 seconds. If you are still not getting a picture, let me know!

If you have a signal loss message on your screen (Signal has been lost, Partial SIgnal loss, COmplete signal loss, or Acquiring signal), you will first want to unplug the receiver from the power source for 10 seconds. You will get the Acquiring singla message as the receiver reboots after you plug it in, but that should only be about 5 minutes at the most. If you get the message after 5 minutes, you will want to make sure that all of the cables going from the back of the receiver to the wall are tight. If that still doesn't do it, please let me know!

I have a d-link 2750u wifi router with dual atntena..but connect in my badroom its near by wifi router i fonna show you in video with distan

Hi
Thanks for the video. I appears that you have concrete floors in your home. A couple of things that drasticly reduce wifi distance or signal strength is electrical fields caused by wiring in the walls and concrete walls or floors. Concrete is very dense and also has a lot of metal rebar in it for structural strength. This combination is very tough to penetrate with radio signals. The best thing you could do is either mount the router higher in the first room you showed so that it is at a level about even with the floor of the second level or add a repeater somewhere on the second floor. Mounting the router higher allows the radio waves to bounce around both levels without having to go through the concrete and rebar between them.

How to connect floor monitor to mixer

You need to connect the speakers using an XLR cable into the Main output jack on the back of the mixer. If they are powered speakers you will need to connect them into a power source and turn them on AFTER connecting them. Once powered on you can control the signal going to the mixer with the Main Mix fader.

  1. Turn mixer on
  2. Ensure Main Mix level is at zero
  3. Connect from Main Output to Monitors
  4. Turn Monitors on
  5. Turn up Main mix to desired level

How do I attach power amp to 1832 mixer

There are a number of configurations for a mixer like the 1832, the most common are PA system and Recording system. There are Main output jacks which carry the mix as summed in the main faders. These in a PA system would feed the pa amplifiers which drive the house speaker system for the audience. These connectors are XLR 3 pin type on the rear, intended for professional pa amplifiers which use balanced +4dbv line input level. Amplifier which have 3 pin XLR connectors for input signals can accept that high level signal. For home style HiFi amplifiers, the signal level is nominally -10DBv and balanced or unbalanced signal lines with 1/4in diameter phone plugs which are connected to the mixer by way of a second set of Main output connectors which are 1/4in phone jacks. Use whichever amplifier input level your amp has.
If you are not using it as a main PA house mixer, but using it for recording, the main output connectors go to a 2 channel recorder or computer sound card recorder. The power amp and your monitor speakers are connected to the connectors labeled "Control Room" (CTRL Rm). These output are useful for recording because the signal through the mixer can be monitored from several buses, Solo, main mix, selected by buttons provided. The buttons only affect the signal heard through the control room monitors, and not the main output which only sees the main mix so selecting "solo" does not interrupt the signal going to the recorder while the engineer in the control can be checking other signal paths through the board.

My TV goes too bright at times and is too Dark on

Chances are you have a main board issue, you can test the PMW terminal coming into the power board and see if that voltage is dropping off when it gets dim, that is the signal that controls the backlight level...Good luck!

How to make a d-link 264 ob into a repeater I have a three story house with wireless on the ground floor and the signal is very poor at the top. I want to repeat the signal on the second floor.

Move your wireless to the second floor or add a second wireless router to your second floor. Use CAT 5 or 6 cable. Run it in a closet or cold air return. Use the special cat 5 or 6 for cold aire return use. Do not put it in a heated duct.

Can I setup a cable modem with a router

You can if the router is wireless and you have a wireless card in your computers. If not, then you will have to upgrade the router to a wireless and get wireless cards in the computers or run a cable to the 2nd floor

My cable box is hooked up to the HDMI input on the TV. The signal is going out for a second fairly often. The screen goes blue and says no input.

A weak or interrupted cable signal will cause digital dropout. Have your cable company increase the cable signal level to your box from their main office. They may have to send a technician out to measure the signal level to see if it is a problem.

SAMSUNG LNS3251DC - RED POWER LIGHT IS ON BUT TV NOT POWERING UP. WHEN I PRESS THE POWER BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS. TV HAS A DARK GLOW COMING THOUGH

Multiple causes here. The Main bd controls the Power supply. The Main bd receives the "Power on " signal from the IR sensor and the Power Button the tv. Seems that the Main bd is not sending the Power on signal to the Power supply. So the first place to start is with the Main bd. Second being the Power supply. have a trained Samsung tech troubleshoot the set.
