Since you did not specify the operating system of your computer, I assumed that you are using Windows.

Slow printing can happen for a lot of reasons, please try to use the Host-Based or Post Script print driver (not universal). You may download this from support.lexmark.com

Dell all in one 966 printer has delay when printing off computer

If you are printing full-sheet high resolution graphics in color, this is normal. The delay can also occur on lower resolution print jobs due to a print server if you are using this as a shared printer in an office. Try it on another PC to ensure that the issue in not in the computer's set up.

Keeps showing 900.57 firmware error and the paper gets stuck

Power the printer OFF and ON. Send the same file to the printer, if file has not been released from the print queue then delete all pending print jobs out of print queue.

Disconnect all data cables and power the printer OFF and ON. If the printer returns to READY, Reconnect the data cable and try printing again. If you are getting a paper jam error, please take not the error code and locate the jam. For further assistance, please contact Lexmark Technical Support.

5 minute printing delay

First go to control panel and select "printers and faxes" when that opens up, make sure that your printer is checked off as the default printer. If it is not, then right click on your printer in that box and a menu will come up. From that menu, select "set as default". Try it now. If it was already set up as the default printer, then you need to update your drivers for that printer. Go to the manufacturer's web site and you should find the right drivers for your printer and operating system.

Delayed printing

in your settings, you most likely need to turn off the delay print setting.
You can set printers to hold everything untill a specific time of day to print.
On that particular machine, I am not 100 pecent sure where that setting is. But you should have a menu button to scroll to setting and search for delay print.
You may be able to access it from your computer on printers properties.
