I have a klh dual deck cdr2000 the left sid draw wont open and cd i have recored on this system says no info any help would be greatly helpful thank you in advance

It is a belt that is loose and the motor that is slipping is the noise you hear. Usually if you can get the belt out and measure it subtract 5%

Sounds like the CDR deck has an issue. When the disc comes out has it's position changed i.e has it been spun at all? Can you hear any motors moving? Does it work with any type of disc ( cd/cdr/cdrw)?

If you confirm they are music use CDR's or 'consumer audio' then it sounds like your drive is dead. Can it read normal cd's? When you open the tray can you see that the disc has actually been spun i.e the disc has changed position at all?

I recently resolved CD-R recognition problems with the KLH CDR2000. It's absolutely imperative that you utilize CD-Rs bearing the logo "COMPACT DISC DIGITAL AUDIO RECORDABLE". These specific CD-Rs are designed for digital music recording with the KLH CDR2000 and other simular products. I have a Marantz CD20 that has the same CD-R requirement. I purchased a Memorex 50-pack from Best Buy for approximately $20.00 plus tax. The recordings with the Memorex CD-Rs are immpressive for the KLH CDR2000 given the obvious flaws in design. Again, when searching for compatible disc for the KLH CDR2000 look for the words "DIGITAL AUDIO" within the "COMPACT DISC RECORDABLE" logo.
