How,do I turn the on screen keyboard off of the dell inspirion mini

There is typically no FN key on a desktop PC keyboard if it is full size. The Dell website does not show FN keys on their standard keyboards for desktops. A mini keyboard would have one however. You can buy a mini keyboard for your PC, which has a FN key:

I don't know if you have a mini or a mini 10 but here are the instructions on how to do both.

turn on the computer --> press f8 on start up after flashing of the bios screen

it shows advanced start up options from the menu select safe mode

then it shows classic logon screen type username as administrator leave password as empty and press enter

now you can reset the password using user account control panel or using computer management from control panel

To change your screen resolution1.Open Display in Control Panel.2.On the Settings tab, under Screen resolution, drag the slider, and then click Apply.3.When prompted to apply the settings, click OK. Your screen will turn black for a moment.4.Once your screen resolution changes, you have 15 seconds to confirm the change. Click Yes to confirm the change; click No or do nothing to revert to your previous setting.

try to eliminate a battery, and a battery 3V under the keyboard.

Just right click on a BLANK area of screen and select the graphic properities from there

depending on the operating syetem vista and windows 7 will actually offer you the "change resolution" option near the bottom of the pop up when you do that.

Simply change the screen resolution.
Steps
Right Click on your Desktop
Click Properties
Then go to the Display settings
Select a lower resolution
Your problem will be solved

Try to restore factory image of your system by going to the advance boot option: (restart your computer keep tapping F8 on the Dell screen).

- Select Fix your Computer and press Enter.
- Click Next when you get to the keyboard/language page.
- If asked for a password, Type your password when you log in to your desktop.
- System will automatically restore your computer to factory image/settings.

Note: Your files will be deleted when you restore system to factory image.
