MY SAVIN 4700WD WIDE FORMAP COPIER/PRINTER/SCANNER MACHINE COMES UP WITH AN ERROR CODE "SC35303". tHE ERROR CODE ISSUE HAS PROGRESSIVLY COME UP MORE OFTEN. CAN I DO ANYTHING OR DO I NEED A REPAIR MAN?

This is a common error code for Ricoh copiers, Savin and Gestetner copiers that need service. Recently Ricoh has purchased Lanier and now is naming all their new machines Lanier instead of Gestetner, Savin and Ricoh. However, the copier service error codes have remained he same.
When you get this copier printer service code it means the fuser or fixing assembly (same part) has thermistor problem. The copier fuser's thermistors help regulate the temperature of the fuser assembly. The fuser assembly on all copiers including Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, Sharp and other brands is the part that melts the toner onto the page.
Getting back to the repairing the copier on Ricoh, Savin, Lanier and Gestetner models that have the fuser or fixing code error. The majority of the time the fusers' thermistors (Middle and read) need to be replaced. Just cleaning them will not solve the copier repair service code.
It is usually, depending upon the machine, its a 1 to 2 hour copier repair job because the copier repair service technician will need to dissemble the fuser, insert the two new thermistors, re-assemble, reset the error code and test the copier machine repair. Also, ask the copier technicians to to do a copier cleaning maintenance while on site.

To reset the machine after SC545, enter
simply in the SP mode.

That code is related to the scanner unit.
Probably after they move the machine the lamp went out of position.
I advise you to see the all scanner; Lamp, Mirrors, White plate...

if you have black streaks the drum is the most common issue.

yes a 672 is an address book error. do you have scanner feature on this machine?. it may be bad. you may need a tech to come remove the option. turn the machine on and use it as a copier. then reinstall the option and see if the error returns. it could be a static build up or the option is bad.

Fusing unit trouble.Clean the thermofuse and thermistors,check the heater lamp.After ,enter in the service mode turn the power switch OFF unplugged the crd.Wait 10 sec. plugg the cords and turn ON the machine.I think the Savin is based the Ricoh copiers machine.The service enter code is : Press the toral clear key - 1 - 0 - 7 -hold down the C key more 3 sec.

Have you cleaned the optics, if there is a build up uf dust and grime on the glass and mirrors, the machice will get progressivly darker.

Remove the glass and lens cover, and gently clean the mirrors and scanner reflector, then clean both sides of the glass.

the laser unit can't write, pull out laser unit to clean out (do not open black box ) laser unit located at left down corner of the toner unit. after clean if still not work, change laser unit.

I have a savin clp 17 and the error light has been on and it says color regis. The yellow is not mixing with the other colors. Please help.
