I need a 3 speed switch for model: u2-1487. - Patton U2-1487 Floor / Box Fan

For Patton fan model U2-1487 120v 60Hz 1.5 amps. the 3-speed switch Patton does not carry replacement parts anymore. I suggest look some aftermark switch and check your wiring and the diagram that come with the switch. You might have the hot wire (power wire usually black in color) wired directly to the motor. Normally the switch will have a common wired which should be the hot wire, then it should have a wire for each speed.

Double check your wiring and wiring diagram. I'm Sure It was just a small oversite. Personally, I suggest you evaluate the cost-benefit of changing the switch or replace the equipment.
