This product worked fine for about 2 months then all the sudden just quit on me. When I unplug the unit and plug it back in the indicator with the three squiggly lines blinks about 3 times then goes off. I tried resetting by holding down the power button, but when I press start the green light comes on and does nothing. I have tried cleaning the filters with all the brushes that came with it and still nothing. I plug it in, the red light blinks 3 times then I press start and nothing? Any help would be....well.....helpful, thanks.
Have Bionaire BAP-1700U quit working after using 3 days. Was sent a new one same problem except only worked 1 hr. Unplugged 1 h., pushed power button and held 1 min. per company instruction. Still wouldn't work.
There is only one other thing that i can think of that might work ifyou haven't done that yet. right above the timer button there is a small pin hole. that is your reset button. you need like a safety pin or something really small to go in that hole. hold it for about 3 seconds. take the pin out and the system should reset back to normal. sometimes when you clean the filters that happens. not every time but sometimes. Now if that doesn't work. i would call the manufacturer again so see if they have any other solutions or if they can send you one more. I do apologize for the inconvenience. I will keep looking for you to see if there is anything else that i can suggest but try that first.

So you need another bulb correct To order replacement lamps directly from The Sharper Image, call 1-800-344-5555 and order item number SI922. Lamps are effective for about 12 months of continuous use.
Here's something that has worked in the past. Turn the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait 12 - 15 minutes before plugging it back in. Once it's plugged back in turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the controls as you normally do.I f everything now functions as it should, the unit reset itself.
If that doesn't solve the problem contact the Oreck Service Dept that did the tuneup for you.
Assuming that the unit was working fine before you cleaned it. Did you remove the back lower panel while cleaning it? It the panel that holds the electrical socket and fuse. If you did, check to see if the electrical connector is seated to the main board. Also check if the keyboard connector (the one that looks like a telephone jack) is plugged into the main board. Also, check if you model has a switch on the back that it is set to the on position. And press the power switch on the front keypad to see if that make the unit work. That all I can think that might have gone wrong.
Ionic Breeze machines are no longer being supported. Sharper Image recalled the product several months ago after it was proven by Consumer Reports and the EPA that the product wasn't cleaning the air and can be harmful to use. Sharper Image took legal action and lost.
The Consumer Product Safety Comission is going to make a decision on all ionizers by the end of the year. It's looking like all ionizers will no longer be sold in the U.S. regardless of who makes them.
My husband came home and checked out the unit. He discovered that the cord was bad, so he replaced it with one we had. It works fine. The cord plugs into the unit at one end and into the wall at the other end. There was no rewiring needed. Problem solved!
Same problem here. Opened it but everythng seemed intact. Red light flashes momentarily during initial plug in. Has power, oscillates but no fan rotation.
i do apologize for the inconvenience that your having with the product. The only other thing that i can suggest cause you already did the majority of the troubleshooting, is that there should be a small pin hole on the top of the unit. that's the reset. stick a small pin in there and hold for about 3 seconds and then the unit should be reset. if that doesn't work there is something internal that is going on. recheck the manual for the trouble shooting options as well.
