I had the same problem. I was told by a sales guy at a high end audio store that I should try using a 3-Prong To 2-Prong Adapter. I went and bought one. I plugged it in and no more buzzing.

you can find them at HomeDepot, Lowes or dollor store.Arcam AVR200. Buzzing sounds - 11_25_2012_6_28_23_pm.jpg

If it gets louder with the volume it's noise entering in or before the preamp area.

There could be an unsecured cable shield/ground or a major ground potential difference between the Arcam and other equipment. Try floating the ARCAM free of any other external electronics first. If it's silent start adding things until you identify the culprit.

The speaker make a buzzing sound

that's called breaking up or overloading it means that the speaker is being asked to play louder than it was designed to play!! this will ruin the speaker at all volume levels if allowed to make that sound for very long..advice? lower the volume till that noise disappears it's not a product fault it's user error advice turn it down or buy a more powerful unit to achieve the volume you want/need

NS-LDVD32Q-10A buzzing noise

Try another input and another source such as a DVD player. If you still get the buzzing sound, you could have a faulty power supply output or a fault in the audio circuit of the main board.

One speaker buzz when cold

It works fine for a couple of minutes the starts to hum. If you turn up the volume it masks the noise but is till audible, also the video switching cuts out. after examining the components I have seen some heat discoloration in the power suply area and believe it to be power for the video board. disconecting the ribbon cable form the video board the hum goes away, and so does any video wich does'nt matter for me because my monitor1.gif does all the HD video1.gif switching. hope this may help with some noise problems.

Buzzing after 1 hour

Is the buzzing coming from the back of the TV, staying loud even when the volume is turned all the way down, or is it coming from the speakers?
