There are two possible causes: 1. The ink dries on the plate around the head output (sprayer), 2. Thin coatings of yellow head broken. The first possibility can be tested by printing blank pages (or just containsthe line - full pages). If after about 50 pages to print, yellow lines had been lost, then the printer is ready for use again. But if not, then thesecond possibility happens. At the output of the head there is a thincoating. If until the coating is breached, then the ink will drip continues, although there is no voltage or current that supplies the headmicropiezzo.
Epson printers have their print head nozzles
built directly into the printer instead of into the disposable ink cartridges.
These print heads can become clogged over time, especially if you are using ink
refill kits instead of replacing the cartridges with new ones. To clean the
nozzles, you will need to open up the printer and physically remove the print
head.
