I just received a brand new viper 7752v remote and it will not power on even when plugged into the charger. I have tried to press the function key several times to reset it and nothing. Any Suggestions?

Use a high amp charger (like the wall charger it came with, not a weak USB port). Press and hold the F button on the side, then plug it in and wait a few seconds then release. The remote should "wake up" and start charging.

Try plugging the charger into an outlet then, plug the charger into the remote, remove, plug in, remove...Do this for approximately six(6) times or, until "charge" appears on the remote. When "charge" appears on the remote leave it pug up to complete charge.

With lithium battery there is a low cut off voltage. If you dont charge your battery and let it sit it will lose voltage due to the chemistry. If the battery goes past this low voltage cutoff it takes a while to charge it if at all possible. The battery will die if it get way to hot(ie left in a car on a hot summer day), charged x amount of times( some say 1000 times) or overcharged or discharged past the point of no return. I sell new batteries on ebay. Once you install a new battery it takes a minute for the remote to power up. Then try to charge it. If the charge doesnt come up disconnect the battery and try cleaning the usb connector with contact cleaner or alcohol. Hopefully this helps.

It took several minuets for my new remote to register anything. I just assumed they came completely dead and it takes a while to get to the point where it will function.

My sst 7752v viper remote will not unlock my doors, it just beeps. I cant get into my truck without my remote... please help

how old is the remote is a question to consider. the batteries might just be too low to send a strong enough signal for the truck's transponder to receive. does the remote need to be coded to the truck if not more than likely its weak batteries. the LCD display doesn't need much power to light up, but the remote does to send the signal.

I need a charger for 7752v remote

you can charge it from your computer if you have a mini usb cable like one from a camera would work. Also if you have an old cell phone charger that has the mini usb connector on the end will work. The motorola driod x charger would be a perfect match. If you need to replace the battery because the remote will not turn on any more I replace the batteries on ebay search viper 7752 remote battery service. Hopefully this helps.

My Viper remote won't turn on or charge.

The battery is probably dead. There is a guy on ebay that is replacing them. He fixed mine and it works great. The batteries dont last forever and you cannot just buy them they are a special type, also viper suggests you buy a new remote for $299 because they do not replace the batteries... how convenient. Hopefully that helps.

Will not charge

I have the viper rpn 7752v remote. I was away for a month and the remote completely died. I plugged it into the usb and nothing would happen. I called the installer and he told me a savvy trick. After plugging it into the usb, press the function button. Repeat this several times before it actually turns on. Repeated attempts eventually worked. He said even the manufacture doesn't know why this works. If you still need help you can email me and I'll refer you to a good installer. [email protected]. Tony Madan
