RCA 52" D52w20 problem

need to replace power supply board to resolve this issue

replace CP150 and CP114 you can get them at the following link they also have the ITC222 service manual which is listed under Thomson as Thomson makes your TV for RCA. The Capacitors are listed under the RCA parts and they do send instructions with pictures of where the capacitors are located as well as how to remove the board.

Almost certainly the green picture tube is shorted. This is a very expensive repair; probably not worth doing.

Resolder all poor connections on power supply board and this should fix your problem.

Check the lamp to see if it needs replaced.

i had an older hitachi. Same problem. It was the capacitors in the comb filter had dried out. Replaced them and it was like brand new.

the processor on this et will shut this set down for number of reasons. a technician should be albel to read error codes form the processor to help deterine whatt is cause the shutdown

This is a shutdown circuit problem, I would suggest that you send it to atv shop, or find a shop on FixYa.com to look at this for you. I have fixed problems like this in my shop, but I always require the customer for pay a schematic and a exploratory fee prior to me starting the job, other shops may or may not do this, so shop around first.

It gives the power supply the start up pulse from the flyback transformer. there are no user replaceable parts inside this set, and the longer you wait to get it serviced, the more its going to cost.
