Siemens 1168 Manual p65 shows "Reset settings to factory default" as *#9999# . . . & then a telephone symbol. WHAT colour is the symbol? Or does it not matter? Following "top-up" of phone - can no longer see how much credit it holds. Advice welcome!

You can try this to hard reset your HTC F3188
**it would make your phone on its factory default settings.
**all settings and files will be deleted.

- Press & hold volume up+down
- Press Power on
- Press Volume down to hard reset
- Press other button to cancel

We had a similar problem, but was with the audio side. You can attempt the system reset like this;
Use this procedure to reset all the receiver's settings to
the factory default. Use the front panel controls to do this.
Set MULTI-ZONE to OFF.
1 Switch the receiver into standby.
2 While holding down HOME MENU on the front
panel, press ? STANDBY/ON.
The display shows RESET ? NO ?.

OK appears in the display to indicate that the receiver

If you havent selected a PIN yourself, then it should still be the default.

The manual that came with it will tell you the default, but if you dont have the manual anymore, defaults commonly are 0000, 1111, 1234, 9999.

If you have set a PIN but cant remember it, somewhere in the menus is usually a "reset to factory defaults/configuration" that may reset the PIN back to the default. Otherwise, you'll just have to keep guessing your PIN !

first try to reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't work, you have a main board issue.

Only way is to reset the Router to Factry settings.

Press the reset button on the bottom. But it has two modes one is just a reboot and the other is return to factory settings.a short press reboots it, if you hold it down for a few seconds until the power LED flashes between green and red, then release it, that will factory default it.Then you will be able to login.

Go to the LS2208 quick start manual scan the "Set Defaults" barcode and it will return the handheld to factory default.

Either get the person you got the router from to give you the pass phrase or try accessing the link on this site to get a manual

The instructions to reset the router will probably set the entire router back to the factory default configuration. After which you will need to configure any changes required by the ISP into your router.


Dougerus -- you might be able to help Robbyn by telling her what your manual says about resetting the router. In your case are you following the instructions to reset the router completely? CHECK THE MANUAL you may need to hold the reset button for several seconds for a reset. A short push might only reboot and not reset the router.
