This indicates a failed shutter assembly, or less likely, a failed CCD imaging chip.
Neither are user serviceable. If the camera remains under warranty then contact Casio for a free repair. if it's only just outside the warranty then ask them for a goodwill repair. if you have to bear the full cost yourself then the camera is far beyond economic repair and must be replaced.
Did you try formating the memort stick.
This will clean up any error in the stick.
Don't let the battery in the camera run to low, messes with the flash memory.
Blurriness usually has to do with the lens, not always, but more than likely. Make sure no dirt or other kinds of stuff may be on the surface of the lens. It is rare happening that the ccd can become dirty from either dust or other debris or other kinds of things such as moisture. Any digital camera is subject to damage from dirt, moisture, smoke may cause problems, and any kind of impact can damage the track of the lens, or the lens as well. A slight drop can cause problems or future problems. Some may be able to be fixed, others cannot. Blurriness may be caused by internal circuit problems, because the focus is controlled by a processor. If this is the case, the camera needs repair at a repairman or someone who knows the camera, such as the Casio repair department, and can adjust it's electronics on a computer with special software specifically for that use.
Send it back to Casio for a free estimate.
Depending on the price of your camera you can decide if you want it repaired. The price they charge is reasonable only problem they only give a 3 month guarantee.

try removing the battery and card wait for a minute then reinsert and operate. try tapping side by side, even jarring the unit makes wonder, but not to the extent of destroying your unit ha.. [;0)
Try resetting your camera.
In your picture taking mode press MENU.
Go to the SETUP tab and go up until you see RESET. Press your right arrow and make sure reset is highlighted and press set.
If that doesn't work the Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1.
