This is most likely going to be one of two things.
-The DC jack is damaged. Caused by having the adapter plugged in and someone or something jarring it to the point that the solder joints break.
-OR-
-The motherboard is damaged.
You can test, sort of, for the first. Plug in the adapter and gently wiggle it around, while at the same time pressing the power button to attempt to turn it on. If it powers on briefly then you will the DC has broken solder joints. If it doesn't then it's probably the latter.
The motherboards are made in korea so this maybe the only place to get one
