Hello, we have a LD-14AW2 dishwasher (LG) that keeps displaying fault code IE. Looking at your site and reading some of the posted reviews lots of owners are saying they have the same problem. I tried ringing LG Tecks but they said no comment. Would you have any idea what the problem might be, some say inlet valve, others say wash motor? Cheers Dave.....
IE is inlet error, displayed when "Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply"

Remedy:
My LG LD-14AT2 Dishwasher started flashing IE recently which is supposed to indicate a lack of water. When started it would let water in then after a couple of minutes start flashing IE and pump the water out again. After dismantling most of it to check the wash motor I found the motor start capacitor had overheated and had some of its inards hanging out. I've ordered one online from [email protected] (about $20) including delivery. The motor turned freely with pump attached so I'm hoping this will fix it. The capacitor is at the right rear of the machine and is rectangular with a tab for fixing it to the chassis and has two push-on tabs for wire attachment.
