Klh digital tv model kf3228 turns on and off. when tv turns "off" screen goes black, but if you change the channel and turn the tv back "on" or it comes back "on" by its self the channel is changed. there is no sound when it turns "off" by its self.

I have a universal remote that offers codes for KLH televisions. So, the odds are very good that you can use a universal remote that will operate it. Good luck!
Try and turn off the closed captioning. I had the same problem and it turned out that the closed captioning was on t1 instead of OFF. Hope this helps!!!!
40X2000, both PS3 and DVD player are using a HDMI input and both flicker and loose signal fully, have to turn TV of then back on to get signal back. Sony say they have never heard this problem and replaced board. NOTHING fixed, still same problem.
