My whilrpool stove goes in fse1 error mode and beeps constantly. even after i push cancel, it seems to reset then goes back to beeping after a few minutes without even being touched. I unplugged, reset and pushes every possible button combination known. Dynamite is not out of the option at this point!! Help.It started this over nite while everyone was sleeping.

I advice you to contact service if it has guarantee. This seems to be a psychological problem about your oven(!). Technical person need to do an electronic research surgery on its board to see if there is any wrong thing.

The SE indicates a short in the keypad membrane, but to cure this! the whole keypad control board should be changed if effort to resolve is decided, I would also suggest checking the pricing.

Take it back to the place of purchase, this is a manufacture issue.

If nothing else you can just pull the plug on it for a minute and plug it back in. You will have to reset the clock but that resets everything. Usually you can try pushing the cancel button a few times to get out of these but the plug does it every time.

Chances are you have a shorting membrane keypad. It's very common.

Yes this is a touchpad issue. As you have noted the crisp button is stuck and this is the cause of this. You can try removing the keypad and push up the pressed button. If its jammed then replacing it is the only way.

The first thing to try is a "hard reset". Unplug it from the power line for a minute, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.
