VTECH VT9121 When the phone earpiece is in the cradle, the "IN USE" button blinks incessantly, as do the three orange lights on the left, right, and bottom of the cradle. Even after hours and hours of being in the cradle, with the "POWER" and "CHARGING" lights lit up in red, the phone earpiece does not seem to charge. The Caller ID works, but you cannot hear a dial tone from the earpiece. Does the phone need new batteries? Or does it need to be thrown out?
On the handset the IN USE/LOW BATT LED are one and the same. If it is blinking during and after charging and you cannot dial out or hear a dial tone, replace the battery.

Hi I have a ip100 portable printer and both green and orange lights flash. Green flashes twice and the orange light flash at what seems to be a random disorder.
I assume you mean that the power and resume lights are blinking. This signals a carriage stall. Open the top cover, if the cartridge cradle moves to the right, it isn't stuck and may be a one-time issue. If it is stuck, unplug the power to the printer. Open the access door and observe the carriage position. Clean any lint or paper pieces out. Remove any obstructions. Move the cradle and continue checking for lint, paper and obstructions until the entire area is cleaned out. If the print carriage started out on the left side, return it to that position to make sure the cartridges are back in the capping station. Look inside the printer along the cartridge cradle path for obstructions and remove any. Remove the rear access door and check for paper pieces, remove any obstructions.
Plug in and turn on the printer and see if the carriage returns to the left and reseats itself in the capping station. Close up the printer.
If this doesn't work, the printer may need service.
On left hand side of base unit dial has to be set with the number 1 in the 3'oclock position. On the right hand side of base unit there is a switch set it to the 1 position. On the headset press and hold the vol - and vol + and pick up call buttons at the same time until an orange light on headset blinks a few times.
Try the "hard reboot". /1/ Unplug power from base station. /2/ Disconnect battery in each handset. /3/ Wait a few minutes. /4/ Reconnect battery. /5/ Re-plug-in power to base station. /6/ Place handset in base station, and wait a few minutes for it to recover. You may have to reset time/date and/or the handset ##.
It sounds like you need to re-register the earpiece to the base. To do this, use the following steps:
1. Return the headset to the Headset Docking Cradle 2. Press and hold both the Speak Volume Adjust Buttons (+/-) on the back of base unit for a minimum of 5 seconds. The Red Power Indicator will then flash 3. Press and hold the Headset Mute Switch (black button on top of earpiece) for a minimum of 5 seconds. The On-line indicator (green light on boom) will then illuminate. 4. Subscription completion is indicated when the Power Indicator is fully illuminated and the On-line Indicator is extinguished. 5. If subscription fails within 2 minutes the headset will return to the un-subscribed state.
OK I managed to get my head set to work.
Make sure the unit is charged, press and hold both the 'ON' button (on neck piece) and the "PLAY/PAUSE' button on the right earpiece. Keep holding then the LED should flash Blue three times THEN flash alternate RED and BLUE. You should then be able to Pair the Device.
Good luck
