Make sure your internet connection is stable. Disable the firewall settings on your computer and modem when installing the yahoo messenger.

Try this version of yahoo messenger
1. Ymsgr10.exe

If you have already installed a previous version of it then make sure that you have closed the application using the task manager.
And if you still persist to have the same issue then goto REGEDIT and search for Yahoo messenger and remove all strings. and then install YM freshly. it should work. Give a try!

use revo uninstaller first to remove yahoo completely from pc then you may download new version of yahoo msngr

If you have more then one messenger you need to make sure that you are completely signed out and have them shut down before you try to install another one or it will not install successfully

Dear speedy, this is basically due to incomplete installation. Try to re-install your office package completely. You might also like to complete configuration when it opens up and dont cancel it.
