you should just be able to get an adaptor harness, if the plugs are cut then good luck its a real pain. for some reason other vehicle wiring is added into those harnesses
A picture requires an installation, which is what you are doing. You should invest in a vehicle specific wiring harness. The wiring colors match for the connection and said harness then plug into the factory harness. If the factory harness no longer exists then you need the wiring diagram for the vehicle. You mention the vehicle has a premium stereo, the Metra part number is 70-5510. It's for an amplified system.
It is best to buy a connector pigtail for Ford, but you can wire directly using the below color code for the factory wiring. use the color code from the pioneer to match to the factory wires. If you have more questions, please reply.

Just look up the stereo wiring diagram for your chevy and splice the wires together. Here's a site that has it http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/476.html
All you need to do is go to the parts store, and get a wiring kit for your vehicle. It will plug into the factory harness, and the colors on the new pigtail will be same as the aftermarket c/d player. Hope this helps.
Your gonna need to find out your trucks wiring schematics to get this one going. Get a copy of a Chilton/Haynes manual (free at a local library) and scope out the dash/stereo wiring diagrams for the truck. Go to Pioneer's website and enter in your cd player model info etc to get its wiring info.
