For Eurotech EWC177W fornt load washer, the machine stopped working in the middle of a cycle and now the start light does not illuminate. I have determined it's not the outlet power. Does thsi washer have afuse? Any other possibility?

as the power indicator does not illuminate, this doesn't appear to be a timer issue or water source issue. Its more main power related. Is there an internal fuse in this washer?

drain is not blocked. as cycle stopped in mid-cycle with water in the drum, I opened drain and ltsa water flowed out. there's no internal fuse? how difficult is it to replace the control board? Where do I get a new control board?

Hi

First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump assembly located inside the lower front panel of the washer. If the issue returns after its cleaned then it means that the control board has gone bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

You are right a blocked drain might stop it from coming on, if that is fine then it is the control board that should be replaced. You can buy the board from any local repair shop and to replace it you have to take it apart completely.

Hi

If the cycle won't complete then either it's a problem with the timer or a cold-water supply problem:-

If your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.

It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water.

Whirlpool washer Wtw4816w2 will not reset. Tried numerous times as explained in add details.

If you haven't power reset then;
Disconnect the Cabrio from power, unplug or flip breaker off.
Wait 5 minutes before restoring power.

If it still won't respond, then likely a control board/power and/or interconnect issue.

Hi

The issue is with the door lock assembly that is bad and should be replaced. If the door lock assembly is bad the control will sense that the door is open and so will not start a spin cycle. If you want you can test the door lock assembly with a voltmeter before replacing it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Stops drains and bleeps with only spin light illuminated

It sounds like you need to re programme the
machine.
With the machine plugged into the wall and
turned on and the headset turned off this is what
you do.
Push and hold down the start button, while doing that you need to then push and hold down the power button.
Hold them down for about 5 seconds, during
which time you may a series of up to 3 beeps.
Then release the buttons.
Turn the machine off and then on again followed by the start button. Allow the machine to then run the complete cycle.
This should correct your problem, if this doesn't then you may need to then look at replacing the computer panels.

Water does not drain from the machine

The only way for water to be exhausted from the Eurotech washer unit is for the water pump to function correctly. Check for operation of the water pump which can be heard with a faint hum during the water exhaust cycle. Also check to see if the drain port is blocked etc eg with a childs sock. To check for this open the lint filterdoor, remove the lint filter and using an inspection mirror look around paying attention to the 2 ports inside the filter cavity. If filter ports are clear then suspect the water pump. If you can hear the water pump working but the water is not exiting your washer then it is likely the 4 prong impeller inside the water pump has sheered off its shaft within the pump. Change pump and this should solve your problem.
