Get a can of carburetor cleaner. Drain the gas. Mix small quantity of fresh gas & carb cleaner about 50/50. Run a little through (it might not start, but crank it enough to get some solution through the carb.) If it runs, that's great, run about half of your solution then turn it off for an hour. Then run the rest through. If it won't start, then after the hour add a bit of fresh gas to make the remaining solution about 90% gas and run this through By the way, running the carb cleaner through the air intake will not fix this problem, because the gumming of gas is in the fuel line, float valve, needle valve - not in the air stream. Engine will
not start
1. Low on fuel or oil. 1. Add fuel or oil.
2. Ignition switch in "Off"position. 2. Turn to "ON" position
3. Faulty spark plug. 3. Replace spark plug.
4. Choke in wrong position. 4. Adjust choke accordingly.
5. Fuel shut-off valve in closed position 5. Open fuel shut-off valve.
6. Unit loaded during start-up. 6. Remove load from unit.
7. Spark plug wire loose. 7. Attach wire to spark plug.
