You can recover photos after memory card from with asoftech photo recovery. I used the program before, you can download trial for free.
http://www.asoftech.com/products.html

Please be noted that your phone memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

Format your Micro SD card? Want to restore all your lost photos?
Don't worry! As long as you take the right steps, you do have chances to get all your data back:
Step1. Stop using this SD card in case that any new file would rewrite your original data.
Step2. Insert this Micro SD card to your computer.
Step3. Download a data recovery freeware to your computer and start to retrieve all your lost data back:
http://www.4cardrecovery.com/
In fact, this freeware has ever successfully saved all the inaccessible data of my friend off from his SanDisk memory card. So, I believe it can also work successfully on your card, too.
Read more information of this freeware here:
http://sd-card-format-recovery.blogspot.com/2013/11/recover-sd-card-after-formatting.html
Step4. Save and back up all the restored data on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.

The data on a phone memory card is not actually erased after the formatting process. They are sill there and become inaccessible and invisible. So, in order to get them back, you should act carefully like this:
1). Do not us this memory card any longer before you've retrieved them all back. Any new data on this card would be a great threat to these invisible files. Take care!
2). Download a memory card recovery freeware to retrieve you invisible files back off from this memory card successfully. This freeware has specially offered a "Format Recovery" option for the user to process all formatted drive or card data recovery problems. It really works well.
Try to get this memory card data recovery freeware here:

http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2013/01/memory-card-recovery.html

3). Launch this freeware and try to retrieve all these needed pictures back.
4). Do not save these restored pictures on this memory card in case of data recovery failure.

Don't worry, just calm down and not add new files.
http://www.goshareware.com/resource/recover-formatted-memory-card.html
It is possible to recover formatted memory card only when you don't save any data to the formatted memory card. Because when you format memory card, the data remains there but the space it occupies is made available. So after the first format, you'll be able to carry out formatted memory card recovery with a near 100% success. But once new data is written to memory card, the chance of full memory card recovery will become less.

Once the card is formatted it is difficult to retrieve the exact files with the correct properties. Hence the images that are erased are gone .

I keep on getting the memory full thingy when my text messeges are all empty and i even insert the 2GB memory card. I can't view my photos because memory is full.

its a common problem, the phone memory gets filled up quickly, 1st you have to format the phone memory then this problem can be solved but make sure to change the message storage memory to memory card instead of phone memory, otherwise this problem will occur again.
Switch-off your phone. 1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show! 2. LG KC550 mico sd memory card bad format error

Hello tony_gibbs10,

Formatting the card in the phone will not help the problem. Sounds like the file format of the pictures is not compatible with the phone. Check the manual for compatible picture formats and verify that they match.

You can format the card in your PC by going into my computer right clicking on the icon for the memory card and then selecting format.

Post back with any questions or comments for further assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

I have a Olympus FE-120 I downloaded pics and followed procedures to empty card but many pics remain with a protected (key symbol) How can I clear that??????????????? email [email protected]

Sounds like you will need to format the memory card. This will permanently erase all the data from the card and then you will be able to use it again. To format the card: Press the Menu button - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to Card tab - right arrow to memory/format- right arrow to format option. You will see format yes or no. Choose Yes and press ok. This will clear all the images from the card and then it can be used again.
