Then select your desktop model and the windows version. There you will found all drivers, select your required driver and download it. So it is too easy to download.

My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6000. I cannot connect to the net and viewing my device drive shows that I problems with some driver including my network controller, Ethernet controller and modem device on...
Even though the laptop says DV6000, they always have a more specific model number on the bottom sticker.

The best way to do this is grab a flash drive and go to another computer. Open the internet and go to hp.com then click on support and drivers. Type in your model number, then operating system and download the drivers needed to your flash drive. Then bring the flash to the pavilion and load drivers from there.

Did you connect the p4 atx 12vx1 plug?
You may also need to connect the aux x1 plug on some models.

obtain the driver from cd/dvd that was included as you purchased your desktop and try to check if the driver supports with the operating system you are using now. for example the driver available in your cd/dvd is only for windows xp and your operating system you are using now is windows vista of course driver not installed. try to download from internet the driver that are suite to your unit model and current operating system this can fixed your problem or else downgrade your os tha can support the driver that are available from your cd/dvd.
