You will need to replace the control knob assembly. Which includes the tank hook up & regulator. Contact Weber Customer Service @ 1-800-446-1071 for this part.

Hope this helped you.

The oval burner has only very low flame, even when set on high

Every one of these ranges that I have seen with the oval style burner on them have a smaller flame then the normal round burners. And there is very little difference between the low and high settings. It sounds like what you are experiencing is normal. What the GE repairman was adjusting is called the "simmer stop". There is a small flat head screw inside the burner stem. By turning this screw you can adjust the size of the burner on the low position of the burner knob. This should be adjusted to where the burner still stays on when the knob is at the lowest setting. I do not think that you need the burner repaired. From my experience they are all like that.

Low and intermittent flame of weber Q 220

You can try replacing the regulator to cure the gas flow problem, I believe the ignition is a piezo, if it does not click when you push it or turn it, it most likely needs to be replaced. If it still clicks, then there could be a bad wire or electrode.

Cannot get good flame on the burner of my baby weber grill. I've tried cleaning it checked hose, tank, regulator, seems to have good flow, but low flame only, even when set in high????????

I had this problem with a brand new grill so it wasn't grease in the hose. Due to the new propane regulators you have to turn the propane tank on for at least a minute before turning the grill to light. Let the tank sit in the light position for five seconds and then you light the grill. This will keep air from getting into the intake hose and will keep your gas flame roaring high.

I was only able to get the grill up to 250 degrees before I found this fix posted on the Weber site. It is listed as the number one solution in the FAQ section.

Low flame

This problem most likely is with your regulator. if you decide to replace it please make sure you get the right size replacement. Some salespeople dont know the difference there are four common sizes from class 1 to class 4. If you take the old one with you make sure you match the numbers up with a new one.

Hope this helps You

My weber Baby Q grill has a low flame.

Agree with rjmbridge. I called the Weber support people and was told that there is a built in safety feature on the regulator that will cause the flame to burn at a low setting if the gas within the extension tube to the large tank and regulator is not allowed enough time to equalize. They suggested turning on the gas from the tank very slowly, allow about 2 minutes with the temperature control knob turned off, then turn the temp knob on and light. This worked for me.

Simmer is to hot

I am hesitant about answering your question because if the flame is adjusted incorrectly it could be dangerous.
Remove the knob and look inside the stem of the gas valve. You will see a very small adjustment screw. This is where you adjust the flame for the burner.
What I usually do is light the burner and turn it to the lowest setting. Hold the stem in this position and turn the screw. They are usuall kind of stiff to turn.
You want to adjust the flame so that it just comes to the top of the burner cap at the low setting.
This is the important part!!!
When you have got the flame adjusted, put the knob on and turn the flame to high. Quickly turn it from high to low, if the flame goes out, adjust it higher. Repeat this test until you can turn it from high to low quickly and it stay lit.
Also important to remember. When turning the screw, a little turn goes a long way.
