there is no tube,it has different components and to fix them is going to cost you more than a flat screen tv

Instead of replacing the entire tube, have you thought about repairing the break? They sell spice kits at most home supply stores like Lowe's. That would be a lot easier.

May be you can try to contact any Authorised HP Service centre for your probelm. Could you give me your correct location so i can tell you whome to contact?

Alternatively you can try to see where the leakage is taking place and try to seal it with silicon sealent so it can atleast last untill someone attends to the probelm from HP.

The technical term for it is INK TUBE ASSY. But make sure and tell the HP people about the size of the plotter that is 42" or 60" and also keep the Product Number and Sl. No. of the machine handy which is required by HP technical team. (You can find it at the back of the plotter)

No - Your TV has tubes not lamps.

Why do you beleive you need to replace the tube. 99% of the time the problem with this model is just the fluid.

Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look white,dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see white halos around images.

What you will need to do is replace the coolant and clean the crt lens. You can get a repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com that includes replacement coolant, photos, step by step instructions, etc.

You can get replacement tubes for your model at the following link for about half the price they normally go for, If you dont know which ones your model uses just leave them a email with the model number and what color tube you need they respond quickly.

Go to the following link and leave your model number in a email and list which tube you need, they have access to just about any new replacement tube that you need for Sonys. they dont list them all, but leave a email I am sure they will have what you need.Heres the link.

If you go to this link they have any Picture tube you need for your model and they include instructions on how to remove the old Tube and install the new one. Your model has picture tubes instead of lamps. Leave them an email with your model number and which CRT (picture Tube) youre needing they respond quickly. Heres the link.

What CRT do you need? Each one has a different part number. Realize that each CRT will cost about $200.
