Error code reset:turn OFF the copier ,press and hold the Utility key to right hand,to left hand turn ON the copier, wait appaire on the display Trouble reset, touch the screen and turn OFF the copier.Wait 2 minute and turn ON.
This error means that the display board isn\'t communication correctly with the temperature control sensors which is why it\'s giving the error. It may stop cooling so you need to keep an eye out. Either way, try to unplug the unit for 5 minutes (don\'t plug it in early it\'s hard on the compressor). Plug it back in and see if the error goes away. If it doesn\'t, you need to order and replace your display control board because it\'s just not working correctly unfortunately. Here is the board to order.
You can try performing a clean boot and check if it helps. Hello ! If you check out ASUS support, you will find this troubleshooter for the motherboard not booting :

2. Please take out your memory cards and video card, try to clean their golden connectors with a rubber, then reseat them back.
3. Please take the CPU cooler out, add
some thermal paste to the CPU surface, then reseat the cooler back and
keep the cooler tightly installed.
4. Please keep the necessary components(CPU, one memory) onboard for a test.
Finally, we would recommend you to replace a BIOS battery to have a test. Also, by looking over beep codes I have found for AMI BIOS these problems for the 2 short beeps : 1. Memory parity error (Description : A memory parity error has occured in the first 64 KB of RAM. The RAM IC is probably bad). 2. POST fail (Description : One of the hardware tests
have failed). If you have done those and it still doesn't boot, let me know I'll try to find other solutions. All the best !
2000-0142 is an UNREPAIRABLE hard drive failure.
IF you can boot to windows, do so and copy any important data to a CD, DVD or external drive before it completely fails (If system will not boot in normal mode, try safe mode (F8 at boot)
If you cannot boot to windows, then you may be able to get a replacement HDD, install windows and drivers on it, then using a USB HDD adapter, see if you can find your data on the old drive.
Regardless, the only way to fix the computer is to replace the drive, there is no tool that will REPAIR a 200-0142 error on a hard drive, only replacement.
Does it show the HP logo at boot up? Does it show an error code?
If it boots but fan does not turn then the power supply must be replaced. If it doesn't boot, then the first step is to replace the power supply.
I believe you have used the wrong type of CMOS battery. Try putting the old one back in and see if it will boot. If not the CMOS NAND chip may be broken. If this is the case contact Dell and order a new one.
