my friend gave me a v3 motorola razer from cingular but i don't have cingular service i have t-mobile. when i put in my sim they ask for a unlock subsidy password and i'm having trouble finding one can anyone help me fix the problem

Im having the same problem with my moto razr v3...
from what i understand if you call the service provider up & tell them that you need to copy your phone numbers you have stored on your SIM to your new phone that alot of time being really nice & you can talk them out of the code...just thought id pass on what i keep seeing people say to do...:)
No sorry that is not possible you will have to go to a store close to you that unlock phones and have that done.
