What is the model number for the samsung dryer? Usually when this happens there are small thermistors that act as safety devices in the dryer that will prevent the unit from running. For example there is a hi and low limit thermistor that if either will faulty the unit would not run at all the lights would come on but the unit would not run to prevent the unit from getting to hot. Message me back your model number and I will find your schematic showing the thermistors in your unit. You would have to check these thermistors with a multimeter and perform continutity tests on them to assure that they are functioning properly. I await your reply Thanks Rick

thermostat location at 1-4 on this diagram click this link http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdir...

you also have a radiant sensor as well at 1-2 you also have thermistor locations on this schematic as well click this link http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdir... the thermistor is at 2-3 and another thermostat at 2-4 you also have a micro switch that if the belt were to break on the unit the unit would stop spining and trip the micro switch causeing the unit also not to run which is located at 4-3 check these areas and message me back with your finds Thanks Rick

Maytag dryer 2003 was working great I took one dried load out put another in and started the dryer. Working just fine then I found a wet garment that I dropped so I opened dryer door added this item...

When your dryer won't start, it could be a number of problems from a broken door latch or start switch to an exhaust duct blocked by lint. It could even be a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.

The first step in troubleshooting any electrical appliance is to ensure that it is plugged in and receiving power. While dryer plugs do not come loose easily, it can happen.

For more troubleshooting tips, read Dryer won't start for possible causes, signs to look for and things you can do. I hope this helps!

We pulled our stacked washer out from the wall to service the cold water hose filter on the back of the unit. when we pushed it back into it's location the washer won't start, won't fill...

I know you don't want to hear this, but either you did something to the hose filter or you didn't get it plugged back in correctly.

If you banged the water inlet valve in moving it back, it might be damaged.

Suggest you unplug everything and start over.
