The amp does not say wat size it is

Depends on the vehicle and the size of fuse. But you can use from 20 amp to a 40 amp

In all the pictures I can find, the fuses are clear, which means they are 25 amp fuses.

buy a bridged amp with half the power of your sub (ie 1200 watt sub use a 600 watt amp) this will stop distortion at high volume get in touch when you have the amp and i'll go through how to wire it .

You can go to your local car audio store, Walmart, Circuit City and buy a Wiring Kit they go by the size of your amps ( Watts ) you can get them fairly cheap and it comes with all the wires, and fuses needed.

A lot of your questions also have distance that need to be factored in. Copper is way better than aluminum. but in large wires it may be too expensive, also some suppliers only carry aluminum in the largest sizes. If you are doing a lot of electrical, then you need to learn "ohms law." Also most appliances have the amp load printed on them on the I.D. label.

depends what wireing kit you are useing.if you are useing say a 300watt kit then the fuse in the main power lead is normally a 25amp fuse,and this should be installed a maximum of 12 to 18 inches from the batery. hope this helps.
