I cannot connect to google. I used to have google email connected and keep getting a message saying cannot connect.

You have 2 separate issues here. For the issue of connecting to the Google Play store to setup your device, you should have received an error code or message. I need than and I can assist further.

For the issue of creating another Google account, if the email address you want to create was already used by another Google user, you won't be allowed to create it again. Add another couple of characters at the end of the name and try again (ie: instead of [email protected] create [email protected].

Google theoretically does not allow a person to have two email accounts. However, if you make up a theoretical son or daughter who theoretically lives at your address, Google will allow that theoretical person to have his/her own account. Sometimes it pays to be sneaky. :)

This could have been a temporary issue with something on Google's side. If you continue to have the issue then I would get in touch with Google.

on your computer, login to your email account then go to your account settings.. just copy your email configuration to your mobile..

on menu > messages > settings > email > email accounts
> Your email account.. input your configuration from your email..

(e.g. smtp.mail.yahoo.com & pop.mail.yahoo.com) for yahoo accounts

on menu > messages > settings > email > email profiles> choose your connection (e.g. wifi connection, gprs/edge connection)

Switch off your broadband connection for ten seconds and try to switch it back on. Go to control panel and click Internet connection as soon as wizard displays. Examine if the settings is enabled. Close the control panel and open run command and type cmd. After typing, when it prompts a command, type ipconfig and see if IP address and provider is listed with gateway and subnet. If it has all the addresses, so you can connect back to GMAIL. Thanks.
