My whirlpool duet sport washing machine will start a cycle but it does not go through the whole cycle and it shuts off and the door stays locked and seems to happen all the time anymore. There are no codes that will come up when this happens. Any ideas on what the problem is?

you have a plugged or partial plugged drain pump for sure. maybe there is a 20 stuck in it this time! easy to find just follow the drain hose back and you will find your pump.
also could be the cycle your using has a bad area in timing cct. check a different cycle like the delicate cycle and that will confirm pump or cycle
do you hear the door lock assymbley locking if not then either you have a bad control upper board central control unit uper grey board located top back of washer ........or bad door lock assy
Hi, "F22" is a door latch failure error code. At the beginning of the wash cycle the door will attempt to lock several times. If the latch fails to lock, the washer shuts down and the error code is displayed. In some cases, the error code can also be displayed if the CCU goes bad. There is a door latch relay on the board that controls the door locking mechanism. The CCU is not serviceable and must be replaced if defective. In addition, make sure all the connector plugs between the CCU and door latch are connected and snug. Thank you !!
I had the same problem. My control lock was on without the status light on. To unlock the controls I Selected and held END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for at least 3 seconds. The lock/unlock control status light never indicated the locked position, yet my washer now works. NOTE: Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL button for 3 seconds to toggle between lock and unlock.
f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway. If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.
