Most likely the paper never fed out of the tray. Check each tray and make sure the paper is stacked properly and the side guides are aligned against the paper. What is the error code displayed on the control panel?

The scan utilities cd only contains driver. If your scan button is working, u can select scan to twain. Install file downloader, and u can download your scanned files.
the reason the printer button dont work can be several things have you got the printer boards and snanner board fitted if so hte reason it cant connect is you also need fthe gateway address .. this is the ip of the router..the signal for printing has to pass through this to and from the computer to the network card in the copier..
In order to use to scan and fax features ( button on the panel ), optional scan kit and fax kit is need to be installed. If fax kit is installed, u will see a RJ11 port on the side of the machine. If fax kit is installed, when u press the SCAN button on the panel, is accessible.
