SOURCE: my SD card. wont read on my phone keeps saying

Just a thought: if your PC is able to read the card, copy all the card's contents to the PC's hard drive. Install this program on your PC and use it to format the SD card. Then, copy the files back to your card, and insert it in your phone.
Hope it works for you
Cheers! Carlos

plug it into your pc/laptop via sd card slot (adapter needed if its a micro sd) or through a usb memory card reader. open folder to view files, then copy and paste/drag and drop the files you want into a folder on your desktop.

My samsung wont read my 2gb micro sd card. i'll put the card in and it excepts it but it wont show me anything on the card it keeps saying that there is nothing on it when i know there is

Don't look directly for the card look for the things on the card. Pictures, ect ect, if you have named these files seperately, it will be fairly easy to recognize that they are just scattered about. Meddled among your pictures, videos, and ringtones.

I put music onto my micro cd card but wont go on my phone

you actually have to have read the card into the phone first, and then put the music into the established music folder.

the easiest way to do this is to insert the sd card into your phone and move a picture from the phone to the card.

once you do this the phone will have established folders on the sd card. re=insert the sd card into your computer and find the folder that says "my_music"

drag and copy your music into this folder. it will play now in the phone...

Cant view video off my mini sd card when i put it in computer

Try Downloading Quicktime to your PC. Its free and it plays 3GP(Mobile Phone) and MP4. Which is probably the format your phone is saving the videos in.

Micro sd disk

1st - Place the SD card in the phone. Make sure card is not larger than 8gb. 2nd - Adjust the setting to save Pictures, Video, Music to the SD card by going to Settings and tools > Memory > Save Options. 3rd. Remove the SD card from the phone and connect to PC. Now on the PC you will see the phone has created folders for you "Music". 4th - Drag your music files into the correct folders (ie music, pictures, etc). 5th Place SD card back in LG Envy 2 and enjoy the music.

Make sure you don't have to many folders or sub folders, best to keep it simple.

Wipe the card and format it as "FAT" not "FAT32" just right click your usb or SD card in vista or XP and select format.

Drop your MP3 album onto the card, If you use your USB Stick and SD card at the same time then it will default to SD and not play from both.

I found it would not read from one card unless I had a playlist, so I used a free program called Playlist creator 3 - get it here (only relates to MP3's)

I dropped and xvid movie onto the SD card and it played fine, just make sure you are in the correct menu 1st! and the movie isn't in some very old format as it may not play all codecs (encoding used to make movie)

Hope this helps
