hit input button u dont have orgibnal remote for tv so go to the tv hit ch down button to u see it chage the inputs to video 2 3 whatever your cable is on dvd ect ok
Can you use the menu buttons on the TV to navigate to the control panel to automatically or manually add channels? That would be a start to make channel 3 exist again.
I assume you have analog cable TV service and no cable box. Press MENU button on your TV remote. Go over to CHANNEL SETUP. There are four arrow buttons and a button in the middle of the arrow buttons on the TV remote control. Use these arrow buttons to go up, down, left and right. Use the button in the center to select. TV On-screen menu has Video, then Audio, then Channel Setup.
Cable can be set to ON or OFF, you want to set it ON to get cable channels. Go down to AUTO PROGRAM and select it, press button in the center of arrow keys. A short delay while available channels are searched so be patient. After Auto Program finishes, press MENU to exit. You can perform Auto Program whenever required.
You can also add or skip channels manually. You will discover more options in the TVs menus.
Not sure about this particular TV, but usually, you select inputs by channel selector. Go to Channel 1 on TV not Cable or dish, Use the channel selector button on the set itself, go down from 1. You should see somthing like Aux or Line, then aux 2 or Line 2 etc.. eventually (3 clicks or so) rolling around to ch 115. But usually between the highest ch on the set and ch 1 are the auxillary input selections.
BEVERLYQC:: How do you " accidently erased all my chanels " from a tv??
Was the TV connected to a 'cable box' ?
Was the TV conected to 'air waves' or antena input.?
If the TV is attacned to a cable box, temperly remove the cable box INPUT wire, attache an antenna to the IMPUT AND AUTOSCAN WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL
If the TV cannot 'autoscan' in 'air wave' reception...goto menu and set input channel to ch.3 or see if there is a switch in the back that can change to ch.3 or ch.4
You should get all the 'air wave' chanels which will include ch.3 & ch.4
You can get an original replacement remote that will work all functions from Here:
