Hi,
This probably could be defective Printhead ( black/yellow )
Follow the steps below and it should resolve the issue, if not, you need to replace the K/Y Printhead. You can purchase it from any nearest departmental store like bestbuy or costco or walmart etc or Call HP and order one.
Open the front access door. ( printer must be power on )
Remove the Latch of the Printheads
Remove the Printhead
Clean the Contacts with lint free cloth ( golden contacts or electrical contacts / not the nozzles )
Re-install the Printhead back in its position and close the front access door.
The printer usually goes thru initialization process. or Turn off the printer and turn on.
If you still get the error message, Replace the K/Y Printhead.
Regards,
Ron

Simple solution is:
Replace the Black and Yellow Print Catridges. The print heads are mounted to the bottom of the catridges and these, depending on whther they're from HP or not. can have a hard time conducting electricity properly, and in turn.. spitting ink out properly.
Also happens often with aftermarket Catridges because HP puts chips on the catridge. be sure to put an HP catridge. Sometimes you get what you pay for :)

Reset the printer by unplugging the power adapter from the printer (should be
the whole black box on the back of the printer), leave it unplugged for about a

3. Once the printer is back on, it will ask for

printer screen. Do not install the printhead yet.
