Try another speaker set. If this does not fix it, then consider the sound card if it is removeable, get a new one. If it is internal, turn off the sound and install a sound card.
if you cannot reinstall it or it is installed correctly that means that your sound card is in fact broken =(. you will need to replace it. soundcards are generally inexpensive depending on what you will be using it for.
