Kramer VP-719xl -- switcher / scaler. System has been working 2 yrs. without problems and no changes have been made but now nowerpoint shows full screen only on monitor 1 but about 2/3 full on monitor 2 and projector screen. Seems like the problem has to be within the switcher. Any suggestions on the problem or how to track down the problem would be helpful. Installer of system is on vacation.

The 729 is a pretty old box and only accepts HDMI @ 1080i 1080p. 720i 720p 480i and 480p
Because the 729 is HDMI compliant, and HDCP compliant, you cannot display an HDMI signal on a computer monitor which will not display a content protected source.

Connect your source directly to the display, if that’s ok then try through the switcher.

Bose makes a product called a VS-2 video enhancer. All it is is a video scaler and switcher, which, if I remember correctly, has 3 composite in, 3 component in, and 2 HDMI in, with 1 HDMI out, among other connections. It sync's with your Lifestyle system to pick the correct video input when you pick the audio input that corresponds. I can't seem to find it on the Bose website, although I did find the below link. The piece is probably discontinued, but I'm sure Bose or your local dealer can get a hold of one.

you have to sync them together there should be a button on there somewhere :) press the button on the body and card and it should work ! :)

in theory yes as it should have a dvi digital interface. so with the right hdmi to dvi cable the 719xl should work as you require. resolutions of 1600 x 1024 should be possible.

try turning off the playstation and turn it back on
