I initiated a message through someone's facebook. THat person replied. When I tried to reply back, though my gmail, it was automatically sent to "[email protected]". Does this mean that my reply back was never sent? What happened to my message? I would appreciate your help.

You can't reply to that message it was really sent intended not to be replied that's why it contains the word no reply cause it cant be replied.

I want to know how to delete a private message I have posted on facebook.

I've been through something like that and researched it thoroughly. I'm afraid you won't like the answer. Unlike facebook posts, which you are free to delete and it will no longer be available, facebook messages are more like email, in the sense that all you can delete is the copy you can see. If the message has already been "delivered", you can not remove or delete the copy (or copies) at the receiver end. Best you can do is follow up with an explanation or apology, or do whatever damage control you can come up with. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

People have sent me mails to my yahoo account but when I log into yahoomail the mail is not seen. i.e new mails are not coming in at all. I have checked all the settings and they seemed OK. Please help

Send an email to any one of these people and ask them to use the 'Reply' function of their mail program. Specifically ask them to use the generated 'to:' address and not to type in your email address. You want to eliminate 'finger trouble (splelign erorrs)' as a possibility.

If you receive these replies, the problem might be with the senders not typing in your name perfectly. They could also be spelling the domain portion of the address incorrectly. gmail.com is not the same as gmail.net and gmail.us - if those even exist.

Check your spam folder. In gmail, I have never had a problem with real messages going in to the spam folder.I never even look anymore.

At a former employer i had lots of messages flagged as possible SPAM with the word SPAM added to the Subject field of the message.

Hai i need some help.. facebook block me ... i cnnt sent request n sent meesages.. pls help me..

If you've been prevented from sending messages on Facebook, it may be because you have sent a high volume of messages recently or Facebook members have reported your contact as unwelcome. Please note that these blocks can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Please review the Facebook Community Standards while you wait for it to complete.

Once your block is complete, please remember to only send friend requests and messages to people who you already know personally. Otherwise, additional limits may be placed on your account. Keep in mind that it's possible to run into a block based on how many messages you send and how fast you send them. It's also possible to be blocked when either starting a new message thread or replying to a message. Deleting old messages will not allow you to send more messages.

A friend sent a message to 585 people including me in Facebook. The problem is every time somebody replies to all, everyone gets the message and it's really getting annoying. Is there a way to be...

Sadly no. The best thing to do would be to "reply all" telling everyone at once that they should not hit reply all. Most people don't realize that clicking reply all is an annoyance to many people.
Best wishes :-)

I send a message to chat with a friend. They recieve it and reply and are advised i am off line. I dont recieve any replies to chat messages

First the message is received at the destination is indication of sucessful submission. An indication of application offline unless were in relation to the message sent is ok since persons may have disconnected. Also, the facebook chats allows to store the message as sent during the entities absence until available on the network to display what was sent.

Can i sent or reply messages on facebook using yahoomail? if theres a solution how and what am i going to do?

I've got the problem of replying facebook message directly from my yahoo account. Every time I click the reply buttom from mail box, the reply will come to [email protected] and my message will not be sent to the destination. So my solution is that I replace the noreply@ by the address which was sent from fb to my mail box. I hope to hear better idea from you.

If you accidently delete a inbox message can you get it back

In order to recover a facebook conversation:
You MUST have received an email notification from facebook, telling you that someone sent you a message. Ex. Paul Wilson sent you a message on facebook
Click on that email.. If you have already deleted the email, check your deleted messages folder (hotmail, gmail, etc.)
At the bottom of the message, you will see a link, click on the link that says :
To reply to this message, follow the link below :
ex. http://www.facebook.com/inbox.php?lh=0e5633de8d92e7fab7145ffc710260dc&
then click on : SHOW DELETED THREAD.
And you're done!
If your turned off notifications and received no email for the message, then there is no way to get it back, I'm sorry.

Gmail Auto Reply

Google HelpGmail HelpGeneral › Setting an automatic vacation response
Setting an automatic vacation response
Going on vacation? No access to the Internet? No problem! Use Gmail's vacation responder to let people know you won't be able to get back to them right away. You can set up a vacation response in your Gmail settings that will automatically reply to anyone who emails you. While the vacation responder is enabled, Gmail will send a response to anyone who contacts you.* If that person contacts you again after four days and your vacation responder is still enabled, Gmail will send another vacation response to remind the person that you're away from your email.
Here's how to let people know you can't respond right away:
  1. Sign in to Gmail.
  2. Click Settings along the top of any Gmail page.
  3. From the General tab, select Vacation responder on in the Vacation responder: section.
  4. Enter the subject and body of your message in the Subject: and Message: fields.
    • If you've enabled a personalized signature in your settings, Gmail will automatically append it to the bottom of your vacation response.
  5. Check the box next to Only send a response to people in my Contacts if you don't want everyone who emails you to know that you're away from your mail.
  6. Click Save Changes.
While the vacation responder is enabled, you'll see a banner across the top of any Gmail page, displaying the subject of your vacation response. To stop Gmail from automatically sending the response, click end now within the banner. Or, if you'd like to edit the response, click vacation settings.
  • Keep in mind that your vacation response will start over each time you edit it -- if someone receives your initial vacation response, and then emails you again after you've edited the subject or body of the message, he or she will receive the edited response, too.
* Messages classified as spam and messages addressed to a mailing list you subscribe to will not receive a vacation response.
