Description

ATDC Sensor Failure
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is less than 7 % while the IU Motor is turning.
- The scanning value of the ATDC Sensor is more than 19 % while the IU Motor is turning.

Remedy

1 Check the UN2 connector for proper connection and correct as necessary. 2 Remove the Developing Unit from the IU, and then replace UN2. 3 Run F8. 4 Change PWB-A. 5 Change PU1N.

if you have a C2557 after changing F8 developer then your extra toner is too strong. Check your clutch adding toner, replace the small foam with an equivalent thickness, increase your toner and repeat a gain F8.

replace k iu and developer /open close the front door but it will be back until you replace the parts

This is form the service manual, The meaning is developer material or the worst case you should change the entire ATDC sensor.

ATDC sensor error code.You must need replaced a developer.Before replacing reset the special parts counter(I/U life,developer)

Replace the black developer unit and black drum

this code means that the time has come to replace its parts, i mean some parts of imaging unit.its the code of a sensor.

This code happens if you replace drum without replacing developer. Both must be replaced at same time.

tha minolta di3510 developer unit looks the same as the unit for the konica minolta bizhub 350 but the toner sensor in the minolta unit uses a different voltage range for the toner sensor and it will throw this code make sure you have the correct unit for this machine also you can try this
go back into tech rep mode and change these settings:
select tech rep choice mode
select printer tab
select atdc sensor gain
set the value to about 165
then back all the way out to the ready screen and power the machine off then back on and replenish toner in the user management screen.
