Sm-usb 007 device unplugged

hi, the 64 bit driver may be the issue , somehow it's not correctly installed or using a 32bit driver, remove step back on system restore so there's no trace of the installed driver, or un-install however there may be some entries in the registry left behind... okay reboot.... just plug in the device. Does Win7 install a driver ?? I had a issue with similar hardware in Win 8 however it did solve it and it's working now..

It does not recognize USB

Make sure that the driver for the USB is installed f your USB ports are installed correctly and enabled in BIOS, you will see Universal Bus Controller list in the the Device Manager. Double-click your USB in the Device Manager and a dialog box will appear. Click on the driver tab and update the driver. To get to Device Manager right-click on My Computer>click on Hardware>Device Manager. If your computer has a built-in USB device and does not detect the device through the Device Manager, confirm that the USB is enabled in the computers BIOS and that the BIOS supprts USB devices

The usb portal doesnt work, whats the problem. it doesnt recognize any kind off device.

Check in device manager that the driver is loaded correctly,if device plugged in has a light it should be on,indicating 5v is present.
If laptop and no 5v on pin your mainboard fuse for usb is popped, very rare event so not likely, you can get usb pinout online if driver is good and functioning correctly, also try downloading usb driver for your board from manufacturer website and re install, wont make it any worse.

Tried different ports, different usb cables. No luck. It shows in the devices but will not print

Check for the printer requirement for operating system and maybe it is not compatible.

Correct Printer icon name. Correct usb port driver needed. Check your device manager for usb port driver if properly installed. otherwise use LPT port if there is install driver for your computer.

I have a biostar motherboard G31-M7TE with XP the instalation disk installs USB 2.0 ok, but now i installed Vista and planning Windows 7 too , but actually with Vista my USB is 1.0, too slow, it...

Access the Windows DEVICE MANAGER.
Select the USB hardware.
Click UPDATE DRIVER, and see if Windows Update can download and provide the correct device-driver to enable USB 2.0 support on your USB 2.0 ports.

Or, try: http://www.biostar.com.tw and see if the updated USB device-driver is posted on their "Support

HP3600 USB printer works but won't print on my HP7058 Laptop

Try removing all ports from your laptop, then reboot, and then create just one USB port. Also, go to your hardware devices and make sure your usb ports don't have any question marks or yellow warning symbols. Be sure first that the drivers for your USB ports are installed and working first. This sounds either a faulty USB cord, which does happen, or USB drivers issues in your laptop. The printer is probably not the problem here.

Does the 'USB' branch of the tree show the USB ports?
Is there an 'Unknown Devices' branch of the tree?

Either way, the software "device-drivers" for the USB ports are not installed, or not installed correctly, and so you'll get the symptoms that you've observed -- power without device-recognition.

Access http://support.dell.com and click "Detect My Computer", and download and install the device-drivers for the USB ports.

Need to plug in a data cable. need usb software installation?

Plug in the USB device, anyways.

If it works, the driver has already been installed.

If not, take the USB device back to the retail store where you bought it, and get them to demonstrate how to correctly configure and install the device, using one of their computers.

USB ports work at 1.1; s/b 2.0

Your computer is functioning correctly.
The USB ports on your laptop are USB1 ports its pard of the hardware.
Your PCMCIA USB 2 card runs at USB 2 speed and therefore when you connect a USB 2 device to this port you will not get this USB message.
