My delay light has come on and I cant get the dishwasher to start. The delay light goes out after the time has expired but if you try to move it to the start position the light comes on again

The Control is programmed to stop running and not allow any further cycles if it detects a water heating problem (no temperature increase detected in heated Main Wash on 3 consecutive cycles). The Control will flash the Clean LED 7 times repeatedly and will disable the Start/Resume key until cleared.

To clear and reset the control press in this order: Heated Dry ? Normal ? Heated Dry ? Normal and then let the unit run for 1-2 minutes and then press Cancel and let the dishwasher complete the cancel cycle. The dishwasher should operate normally again unless it does not detect a temperature rise in the main wash cycle.

It could be caused by a Heater circuit problem if it continues to stop and flash the Clean light.

It could have one of the following failures:
Open in heater.
Open connection or component in heater circuit.
Faulty heater drive circuit on control.
It can also be caused by the wash pump not pumping water past the heater efficiently.

Cda cw 494 - dishwasher makes beeping noises and stops halfway through cycle . will restart if turned off but will not complete . doesnt seem to be filling properly .now and then does complete cycle and...

Greetings,
usually, open and close door..then start counting the flashes. these will give you your fault code. The code then tells us where to go from there. off hand, i would say you have a heater problem.. Either, the water is not getting hot enough because of a faulty heater, or faulty thermostat. The button above the green light that flashes try and hold that down for a minute to reset....let me know about the flashes

Dishwasher is locked out. Clean light flashes 7

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, and then repeats. When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash

-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

All the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cycle finish (1-2 minutes). You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal. If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (i.e. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

3 lights are flashing at end of dishwashing cycle cycle

I shut off the dishwasher, held a few of the buttons together at the same time, let it sit for 5 minutes, then restarted it and it worked!
