I have a paper jam. Is there a paper feeder button or anything I can do to get the paper out. I have already taken out the paper tray, toner cartridge and opened the back and can barely see the paper. I cant see any other way to get the paper out.

To access possible paper jams areas, please click the link http://bit.ly/jtehCY and then go to page 69.

The manual shows the path the paper travels through the printer and the options. The path varies depending on the paper source and paper exit selection (output bin). The jam areas are also shown on the pages.

My xerox is constantly have a paper jam the error code is 077-106

1.Check if the guides are in the correct position.

2. The issue may also occur if the tray is overloaded. To avoid the paper jam, do not load creased, damp or curled paper.

3. Use a torchlight to check for jammed paper inside the paper trays. Remove the sheets stuck in the trays using both your hands.

4. Remove the trays, drum cartridge, and toner cartridge. Clear any jammed paper. Re-insert the drum cartridge and toner cartridge. Replace the trays.

5. The issue may also occur due to Feeder jams. Open the tray to lower the elevator in the base of the tray automatically.

6. Remove any crumpled paper from the tray and close the Feeder door.

Paper sticks in top feeder tray.

I'm guessing by top feeder tray, you are referring to the manual feed tray.

If the paper is getting stuck midway into the printer, and you have taken the time to clear all paper jams, torn piece of paper, paper clips or staples that might act as an obstacle to the paper path, then usually the problem is a defective or non-operational optical sensor.

I had this happen to me on a Brother MFC-8840DN recently. I took some compressed air and pointed the air at what I felt was the area of the optical sensor. This helped blow the paper dust or loose toner powder from out of the optical sensor and the printer began working again just fine.

If you're not sure where the optical sensor is, after you have removed the toner cartridge and drum assembly, just spray compressed air over the entire area. You might wish to wear a dust mask or do this outside to prevent inhaling any paper dust or toner.

The small optical sensor usually has a small plastic arm attached to it with a flapper that moves in between a small "U" (The emitter and receiver are mounted in the sides of the U). This arm can get broken or jammed.

If cleaning the optical sensor doesn't work, then probably you will need to replace it. You can call Brother Customer Service at 877-436-2665 and see if they can give you the part number and sell you the part. If you can access the sensor, generally replacing it is pretty easy.

I have a paper jam i cannot find on a kyrocea fs-1300d any suggestions how to find and correct this problem?

Hi

1. Paper jammed can be found in the paper tray. Just remove all the paper and inspect paper jammed from the feeder roller.

2. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge compartment. Remove the toner cartridge and inspect for paper jammed.

3. Paper jammed can also be found in the rear door of the printer (back door of the print). Check if there is a back door and inspect for a paper jammed into the roller.

4. Paper jammed can be found in the toner cartridge itself. Check for teared paper inside the toner cartridge.

Please let me know if you need more help

Hi I get this 250.07 paper jam check mp feeder on Lexmark t644

Please try this

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.

Lexmark t640: paper jam in the back door. I can see the edge of the paper. How do I release the tension on the rollers so I can slide it out? Now it is in there tight and to grab it just tears off a piece...

Hope this helps....
Explanation of the paper jam message

A 241.09 Paper Jam message indicates that the printer thinks a sheet of paper has jammed at the front of the printer. The jammed sheet of paper is most likely to be found in one of the paper trays or under the toner cartridge.
NOTE: If you select Show areas on the operator panel, you can view one or more images to help you locate and clear the jam.

Clearing the jam
To resolve the paper jam message, you must first clear the entire paper path. To access the jam area, you will need to open one or more of the paper trays. Follow the steps in the table below to help you locate and clear the jam.
Step Action Image 1 Open the printer paper tray (tray 1), and remove any jammed media you find there. pattlnk_10222007_1922-enus28872_24109paperjam1_t64x_en_us.gif 2 Open the front cover and remove the toner cartridge. Examine the area inside the printer and remove any jammed media you find there. pattlnk_10242007_159-enus28872_24109paperjam5_t64x_en_us.gif 3 If you have a duplex option installed, also remove the duplex access tray and remove any jammed media you find there. pattlnk_10302007_1559-enus28860_24x17paperjamduplex_t64x_en_us.gif 4 If you were printing from an optional paper tray, such as tray 2 or tray 3, open any optional trays, starting at the top, and remove any jammed media. Pull the print media either up or down. If it does not pull easily one way, try the other way pattlnk_10222007_1957-enus28872_24109paperjam3_t64x_en_us.gif 5 If you are printing from an optional 2000-sheet feeder, open the front door. Press the elevator button (A) to lower the tray. Remove any partially fed media from the feeder.
NOTE: Make sure the stack of print media is straight and pushed all of the way into the feeder. Incorrectly loaded paper is the most common cause of paper jams from a 2000-sheet feeder option.

For a larger image, click here. 6 Finally, reinstall all of the paper trays and press the pattlnk_10222007_2117-select_button.jpg button to try printing again.
NOTE: You may receive a different paper jam message informing you that another sheet of paper is jammed elsewhere in the printer. If this occurs, the error code will indicate the location. Click here for a diagram showing the error code locations. The paper path will vary, depending on the paper source and number of paper feed options installed.
Remove any jammed sheets of paper you find and try printing again.

Paper Jam feeder

Step1
Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred.
